Who are we?
Borek is a wholesaler and retailer based in Oisterwijk, specialising in (luxury) outdoor furniture. Our central warehouse, with 12,000 pallet spaces, is situated in Tilburg. With a team of 5–6 people, we deliver furniture throughout the Netherlands and across much of Europe.

Your working day as a warehouse assistant
As a warehouse assistant, your working day starts at 07:30 in Tilburg and finishes at 16:15. We generally work from Monday to Friday, although during peak season you may occasionally be asked to work on Saturdays. You’ll be part of our team of six people in our spacious and tidy warehouse. In the warehouse, you’ll help unload goods and pick orders. You’ll gather all the goods according to the order and prepare them for next-day deliveries. You’ll also be flexible and may regularly be called upon to deliver our furniture and assemble it at customers’ homes. For these tasks, you’ll be travelling throughout the Netherlands in Borek box lorries. Occasionally, some products that have been delivered are returned by the customer. You will repackage these and label them with the correct information, so that they are placed in the right location. Alongside these tasks, you and the team will ensure the warehouse remains tidy, so you can start the next day fresh.

When are you the right candidate for us?
For this role, it is important that you have experience working in a warehouse and understand what it’s like to work in a logistics environment. You must also be able to carry out physical work. Our close-knit team is also on hand to help you get started! We’ll ensure you’re trained by an experienced colleague, so you can settle into the company and get to know the team. After that, you’ll be working independently! If you already hold a reach truck certificate, that’s an advantage.
