Savoy Hotel
High above the rooftops of Cologne, with the imposing Cathedral as a backdrop, the Savoy Hotel’s Sky Lounge is an exclusive venue where gastronomy, design and views come together. Borek was responsible for the complete interior design of the fine dining areas on this stylish rooftop terrace. The result is an inviting outdoor space where guests can relax and enjoy lunch, dinner or a cocktail, whilst the city’s historic skyline unfolds before them. Thanks to its central location, just a few minutes’ walk from the famous cathedral, the Sky Lounge has become one of Cologne’s most exceptional terraces.
For the interior design, the Salerno high dining tables were chosen, featuring a bronze-coloured aluminium base and a ceramic tabletop, combined with the Florenza high dining chairs in the same warm bronze colour. The refined choice of materials blends seamlessly with the hotel’s luxurious ambience whilst also withstanding intensive daily use. The round tables create an inviting setting where guests can easily gather, whilst the Florenza chairs, with their comfortable seating and refined design, encourage guests to linger and enjoy the view over the city. The warm bronze, combined with the elegant ceramic, gives the roof terrace a timeless look that perfectly complements the exclusive atmosphere of the Sky Lounge.
