Villa but stately
The city garden is literally and figuratively central to this project. The extension of the villa and the surrounding plot created space for a new total concept in which architecture and landscape are in perfect balance. The organic shapes of the extension and canopy, designed by Bureau Fraai, provide extra volume and connect the exterior and interior into a harmonious whole. Within this carefully designed setting, Borek's outdoor furniture is a natural part of the overall picture. The collections complement the high-quality materials, clean lines and natural look of the home. As a result, the garden is not only the visual focal point of the villa, but also a comfortable living space where design, greenery and architecture come together.

In this renovated city villa, the garden forms the beating heart of the design. The extension of the plot and the addition of a new shell around the existing house have created a powerful interplay between architecture and landscape. The organic shapes of the extension and canopy, designed by Bureau Fraai, give the villa more volume and ensure that the outbuilding, house and garden are experienced as a whole. Natural stone visually flows from the outside to the inside, subtly blurring the boundary between interior and exterior.
Borek outdoor furniture plays an essential role in this carefully constructed total concept. The collections have been selected for their refined design, high-quality materials and comfortable appearance. They reinforce the clean lines of the architecture while also complementing the organic design language of the extension and the green character of the garden.
The result is an outdoor space that is not separate from the home, but inextricably linked to it. The garden serves as the focal point of the villa: a place where sightlines converge, where indoors and outdoors merge, and where comfort and aesthetics reinforce each other. With Borek furniture, this city garden becomes a fully-fledged living environment in which tranquillity, space and design come together naturally. (Photography: Veerle Verheijen)
